Separate User Account
Unlike most other global Amazon marketplaces, Amazon Japan does not sync with your main Amazon account. You must register a new account and enter your shipping address and payment cards from scratch.
Register via Email Only
When signing up, it is highly recommended to use a desktop computer and verify your registration using an email address rather than a phone number. This bypasses SMS verification delivery failures to Israeli numbers.
Registration Troubleshooting
If the registration form still mandates a phone verification code, try creating your account through the official mobile Amazon App and configure a Passkey login.
Payment & Shipping
Payment Currency: JPY Only
Always check out using Japanese Yen (¥ / JPY). Standard Amazon currency conversion rates are high. Paying in JPY ensures you get the actual exchange rate of your credit card.
- Tax Deduction: Listed prices include local Japanese VAT. Once you enter your Israeli shipping address at checkout, this local tax is automatically deducted from the product cost!
Shipping Rates & Delivery Times
Amazon Japan does not offer free shipping to Israel (unlike Amazon US).
