What is Mastercard Day & Main Promotions
Mastercard Day takes place on the 10th of every calendar month (typically starting at 10:00 AM Israel time). The coupon budget is limited:

The Customs Trap: Store Coupons vs. Bank-Level Rebates
Israeli customs exempts personal import parcels valued under $75 from VAT (see our Import Tax Guide and the Israel Post Customs & Import Guide). However, the method of discount determines tax eligibility:
- Checkout Promo Codes: Applied directly in the cart (like
MASTERCARDAYon Amazon/AliExpress). This discount reduces the item value listed on the official commercial invoice. If a $78 item is discounted to $73, the package is completely exempt from VAT. - Bank-Level Statement Cashback: Rebates provided by credit card companies (e.g. Max/Cal/Isracard statement credits). The invoice will still show the original price of $78. Customs will assess VAT on the full $78 since they only check the official shipping documentation.
